Sage Businessworks uses a Pervasive database backend. Sage Businessworks uses an outdated UI compared to the current popular accounting systems such as Quickbooks or online accounting systems.
While Sage Businessworks is still supported by Sage, a growing number of Businessworks users are converting to Quickbooks Online or the Desktop versions.
